What’s the role of a Relationship Director at Assetz Capital?
As their name suggests, managing relationships and supporting our brokers and clients alike are key to the role. From regular face to face meetings to supporting the preparation of your funding application, your Relationship Director will be by your side every step of the way, smoothing out any bumps along the road.
What makes them different from a BDM?
Your Relationship Director has the autonomy and authority to submit your application through to Decision in Principle stage, through working hand in hand and directly with our Credit Team. They will then assist your dedicated Case Manager, to ensure that your deal moves to completion as quickly as possible. Plus, they will keep you informed every step of the way.

Andrew Fraser. Chief Commercial Officer.
Andrew Fraser is the Chief Commercial Officer at Assetz Capital, a role he assumed in 2023 after joining the company in 2017. With over 24 years of experience in property development banking and commercial lending, Andrew has established himself as a key player in the financial sector. He has previously held influential relationship management roles at major banks like Santander UK Plc and the Bank of Ireland.
During his tenure at Assetz Capital, Andrew has made significant contributions to the company’s growth, particularly in Northern Ireland. He was instrumental in establishing the Northern Irish business centre, driving lending in the region to an impressive £160 million. His expertise spans the full range of property-backed lending products, which has been a vital asset for Assetz Capital as it expanded its offerings to cater to diverse regional markets.
As Chief Commercial Officer, Andrew played a pivotal role in Assetz Capital’s shift to institutionally funded lending. This transition allows the company to focus on larger property-backed loans, ensuring the continued growth and sustainability of the business. His deep connections with developers, brokers, and introducers across the UK have strengthened Assetz Capital’s market presence and enhanced its reputation for delivering tailored financial solutions.

Jake Hiskett. New Business Director.
Jake is the New Business Director at Assetz Capital, a role he assumed in 2025 after joining the company in 2018.
With over 20 years of experience in the Banking sector, the last 10 years he has focused on commercial finance and latterly development funding across the UK. He started his career on a fast-track graduate scheme for a high street bank and has since held leadership and senior relationship management roles at major banks like RBS, Williams & Glyn and Lloyds Banking Group.
During his tenure at Assetz Capital, Jake has made significant contributions to the company’s growth, particularly in the Northwest of the UK.
Jake’s skillset spans both technical analysis, property sector knowledge and strong leadership skills, his experience within the sector and desire to educate and support others is proving instrumental in producing the future talent at Assetz Capital.

Callum has over 15 years of real estate experience. Since 2015 Callum has focused on development finance, holding senior origination roles at both private equity and debt funds most recently serving as head of business development at Clearwell Capital.
Callum has vast experience across the development finance capital stack having delivered joint ventures, mezzanine loans as well as senior development facilities for residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments across the UK. Outside of work Callum is a keen sports fan who enjoys a round of golf.
