Close risk warning

As with most forms of investment, peer-to-peer lending carries a degree of risk to your capital; in this case, if the borrower is unable to repay their loan. At Assetz Capital, we seek to reduce this risk to our investors by taking asset security on every loan, with the added benefit of a discretionary Provision Fund for some of our investment accounts. Investment Account target interest rates should be considered along with the relevant Investment Account expected defaults & losses information. Past performance does not guarantee future performance. We recommend that prospective lenders read the Key Investor Information pages before investing.

When UK EXIM Ltd started experiencing a high level of demand, they needed to increase their spending power quickly. Assetz Capital was able to help.

Trading since 2012, UK EXIM Ltd is a provider of import and export finance solutions for small and medium sized enterprises. They only purchase the goods for their clients once they have confirmed orders.

This £2 million loan was split into five tranches to reduce the amount of interest being paid at once and to fit in with their trading profile. The money was used to fund the increased demand from existing clients and new introductions, which was putting pressure on the cash flow.

UK EXIM has plans to build on this sudden growth and aims to be recognised as the national provider of import and export finance.

Every member of the company has years of banking, underwriting and trade finance experience, including CEO Mark Runiewicz, who has 40 years experience in risk management and as a consultant for major banks.
