Intro

This is the second loan Athena has taken out with Assetz Capital; the first a £2.55m loan from 897 investors, that was paid back in full with interest to build the Abbey Wood Lodge care home, a high quality 61-bed facility in Ormskirk.

Steven Wylie has undertaken significant research within the healthcare sector and specifically for the elderly with dementia. He has a solid track record of delivering projects of the highest quality on time and on budget. There will be an experienced nursing home manager, with over 20 years of experience in the sector, running the day-to-day operation.

Impact

The plans for the new care home will ensure it is of the highest quality and will feature larger than normal rooms, adjustable orthopaedic beds, en-suite wet rooms and will be furnished to a high standard.
