Close risk warning

As with most forms of investment, peer-to-peer lending carries a degree of risk to your capital; in this case, if the borrower is unable to repay their loan. At Assetz Capital, we seek to reduce this risk to our investors by taking asset security on every loan, with the added benefit of a discretionary Provision Fund for some of our investment accounts. Investment Account target interest rates should be considered along with the relevant Investment Account expected defaults & losses information. Past performance does not guarantee future performance. We recommend that prospective lenders read the Key Investor Information pages before investing.

Today FCA Accreditation, Tomorrow the Assetz Capital IFISA

• By Jonathan Fox • Assetz Capital

It's been a landmark week at Assetz Capital, with the announcement that we received full accreditation from the UK's regulator, the FCA (Financial Conduct Authority). (Click to view the Press Release)

While this announcement was a long time coming, the decision was made after nearly a two year process which analysed and tested every aspect of the Assetz Capital model.  This not only gives our investors and borrowers the confidence that Assetz Capital is adhering to the highest industry standards, it also allows us to launch our highly-anticipated IFISA (Innovative Finance ISA), aiming for a Q4 release.

Stuart Law, Assetz Capital's CEO, commented: "Assetz Capital's IFISA has the potential to lift the peer-to-peer industry to the next level and showcase its benefits to a much wider audience. As the UK’s second largest peer-to-peer business and property lending platform, we are continuing to make P2P lending more accessible and attractive to all types of investors. Our IFISA will have all the tax benefits of a standard ISA but also the attractive potential returns of P2P lending."

With more and more investors turning to P2P platforms for investment opportunities, and with FCA approval, interest in our wide-ranging investment offerings including the IFISA will increase.
