As with most forms of investment, peer-to-peer lending carries a degree of risk to your capital; in this case, if the borrower is unable to repay their loan. At Assetz Capital, we seek to reduce this risk to our investors by taking asset security on every loan, with the added benefit of a discretionary Provision Fund for some of our investment accounts. Investment Account target interest rates should be considered along with the relevant Investment Account expected defaults & losses information. Past performance does not guarantee future performance. We recommend that prospective lenders read the Key Investor Information pages before investing.
It was great to be over in Belfast on the 7th September to Introduce Assetz Capital to a group of Northern Ireland brokers and finance professionals.
Guests were greeted out of the damp Belfast morning with breakfast and coffee into the warm and welcoming interiors of the Merchant Hotel’s first floor suites.
The initial vibe from CEO Stuart Law and MD Rob Pailin was to narrate the Assetz Capital story and try to show the company’s vision for the next few years.
Collier’s were the guest speakers of the day and they chewed the fat about current market trends in Northern Ireland and any potential issues that may be forecast in the coming years.
Assetz Capital’s Relationship Director for Belfast, Andrew Fraser, who was hosting the event, then took over proceedings to discuss SME funding along with John Hewitt, Assetz Capital’s Edinburgh-based Relationship Director, who rounded up the morning with an overview of renewable energy funding.
We were pleased to speak with a generous blend of brokers and finance professionals, as well as press from Orca Money and Irish News.
